INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL

Beginning today at 10:00 AM Northside Christian Church is sponsoring an International Festival.

The festival is designed to bring together our community to celebrate the international community and connect through food from local ethnic restaurants, crafts from local artisans, and music, dance and other arts from local performers.

The Kentuckiana area has over 77 languages that are spoken in the public schools and 50% of the last 15 years' growth has come from international residents.

With our community being more culturally diverse than ever before, this is a great opportunity for unity and an educational experience.

This festive celebration will open with a flag and drum procession kicking off a two-day celebration of fun, food and connection. Admission to the event is FREE and will feature a performance stage, world market tent, food sampling and sales, petting zoo of animals from around the world (including camel rides), booths to teach about culture and ministry, global partners and local international clubs and programs.

The hours of operation for the International Festival will be Saturday, 10am-10pm and Sunday, 10am-3pm

Come on out and enjoy and celebrate our cultural diversity.

I'd be willing to bet none of the cultural elitist and those who think they are so progressive dare to venture out there.

Since it is associated with a church, it is automatically discredited.

Must have been a sad day for your church: having all those "unsaved" people walking around among you. How hard was it knowing that so many of them are damned to Hell for following a false religion other than your own?
