Yep, only 99.79% of all business assets in the U.S. are in private hands. Looks like socialism alright.

Come on Bluegill, where do you get your numbers. According to the dept. of labor, in January 2007, the Federal Government, excluding the Postal Service was the Nation’s single largest employer and this didn’t include data on certain agencies like the CIA, NSA etc.
Obama’s multi-trillion dollar deficits, the take over of banks and GM only increases the government control.
His socialized medicine plan will add even more to this nation heading towards a socialist plan.

Certainly not non-partisan site. In fact, assets are not the way to define the problem anyway.
Governmental contral and how it rules our lives is a better measure and by that means, we are slipping further into a socialistic realm.
Assets can be confiscated by a socialistic government and no one believes we are there yet, but we are certainly heading in that direction
Remember what Thomas Jefferson said: "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have." This president and his socialism is taking us in this direction. God help us all.
