The Obama Way

Here was a scathing article from Dana Milbank who certainly isn’t known to be a conservative’s friend.

She blatantly explains how Obama planted reporters in the news conference with prearranged questions.

The irony here is very troublesome. Isn’t this just a great way to celebrate freedom and to show the Iranians how an independent media works by destroying it through planted questions. This along with his healthcare talk using only NBC at the White House and refusing to allow dissenting views as we discuss one of the largest expenditures in our budget. I’d call this a state-run media. This would never have been allowed under a republican.

Again, who is surprised?

I know its not NEARLY as important as making a jab against Obama, but is it at least noteworthy for a "hospital and health" blog to mention the new study medication out of the the Institute of Cancer Research that has been successful in reversing, and in at least two cases "curing" advanced staged prostate cancers where there was no chance of surgical intervention, and traditional chemo and rad was only slowing down the mortality?

But the Bush people did this kind of chicanery as well—you might recall the flap back in 2005 about a GOP operative, a "reporter" named Jeff Gannon, who was planted in Bush press conferences to ask friendly questions—the Republicans were embarrassed when it turned out Gannon had been a gay escort. of course the difference between him and bush is the weeks of media bashing Bush rightly over the planted 'reporter', and this Obama-he-who-can-do-no-wrong-loving media whistling while ignoring the story
