More Political Humor

Below is a compilation of humorous cartoons, jokes, video and audio clips that highlight some of the issues we have talked about in the past 2 weeks.

Enjoy..............or not!

The cannibal was walking through the jungle and came upon a restaurant operated by a fellow cannibal. Feeling somewhat hungry, he sat down and looked over the menu.

*** Tourist: $5
*** Broiled Missionary: $10.00
*** Fried Explorer: $15.00
*** Baked Democrat or Grilled Republican: $100.00

The cannibal called the waiter over and asked, 'Why such a price difference for the Politician?'

The cook replied, 'Have you ever tried to clean one? They're so full of crap, it takes all morning.'

Some Get it, Some Don't

I was talking to a friend's little girl, and when I asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up, she said she wanted to be President some day.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'

She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'

'Wow - what a worthy goal,' I told her. 'You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food or a new house.'

She thought that over for a few seconds because she's only 6. And while her mother glared at me, the little girl looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work and you can just pay him the $50?'

And I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'

Her folks still aren't talking to me.

The following video clip highlights reasons why some are voting Democrat and although this makes fun of democrats, it occurs with both sides. This just pokes fun at some of the topics we have discussed.

In this last audio clip from Howard Stern, we get a real sense at how educated some of our public is that will be voting this year.

Absolutely priceless and certainly highlights all the problems with Obama.

At least some people are able to point out the many flaws in this candidate.

It is a shame mainstream media cannot.

Looking forward that single post explaining why you're for and not just against the straw Obama man you've hacking away at for the past month.

Man, I'm looking forward to those Medicare billing rants.

Can we expect the same thing from NAC about Obama? It would make for a nice comparison.

Here's a couple of reasons for Hoosiers to vote for Obama straight out of the Wall Street Journal.

Obama has made 48 campaign stops in Indiana. McCain 2. McCain is taking us for granted. Obama has worked harded for your vote and will continue to worker harder.

Indiana's median household income is $47,448, below the national average of $50,740 and Indiana has lost 135,000 manufacturing jobs over the past decade. The issue in Indiana is not abortion, as James Carville would say, "It's the economy stupid."

Republicans for Obama

If out of the last two weeks of postings, you only take away abortion as the issue, you are less intelligent than HB gives you credit for. I now understand why he didn't even mention abortion early on.

I too am looking forward to the thoughtful reasons why HB is voting for McCain as I can compare his reasons to mine.

By the way, the post today was excellent.

I've lived in Franklin Township in the northern part of Harrison County for the last 21 years and I've never had a volunteer for any presidential candidate come to my door until today. I have an 18 year old son, who registered to vote and the Obama volunteers drove all the way from Bloomington to thank him for registering, remind him if he wanted to vote early that he still could tomorrow and where to do that and finally, they reminded him to bring his I.D. with him when he votes.

This solidified a message that I've told my son before. It's not always the best, most intelligent or wealthiest person who wins the prize. It's often the one who wants it the most.
