Reasons for Hope

Tuesday’s election certainly gives many conservatives hope that the radical left agenda will not be shoved down our throats without a fight.

Conservatives took two Governor’s races in New Jersey and Virginia by substantial margins. GOP sweep: Big governor victories in Virginia, NJ - Yahoo! News

Conservatives also defeated gay marriage in the very liberal state of Maine

This will hopefully send a very clear message to moderates that pushing through this horrible and radical healthcare takeover will not set well with the voters.

We’ll continue to pray for an even better showing for the 2010 midterm elections.

Even “The One” couldn’t bring home the election for Corzine.

What a great way to head into the weekend.

I am anxious to see the results of the Michele Bachman, Mark Levine led march on Washington today. In the past Conservatives have been comfortable sitting at home and doing their protesting at the ballot box. Now that the Left Radicals are in control in Washington, Conservatives have been aroused to use the same tactics that the Radical Left have used in the past - massive public protests eg. tea parties, town hall meetings, marches on Washington. The arrogant congressman ignore phone calls, emails, and letters. (Barren Baron Hill's telephone mail box is always full.) So this is the best way to get their attention. Go see them in mass. It will be interesting to see the reactions of all of the Democrat sectors - eg. the radical left and the "Blue Dogs" to this massive conservative protest today. We have seen part of the response already. Queen Pelosi is promising a vote on her monstrosity of a Health Care Reform bill (1,990 pages) on Saturday of all days. She will force the Blue Dogs to vote for her agenda knowing full well that next year, most of them, including 9th District Congressman, Barren Baron Hill will be turned out of office if they force this health care down the throats of the voters who now overwhelmingly oppose the bill. I am impressed with the bill that Indiana Conservative Mike Pence has introduced for Health Care Reform. It makes much more sense to thinking Americans. Here is a link to the proposed bill: http://mikepence.house.gov/images/stories/house_gop_alternative.pdf
It is only 219 pages long and proposes common sense solutions to the short comings of the current health care system. Wow - it includes Tort Reform. Unfortunately, until we have the Conservative revolution that is coming in 2010, this bill will not receive much scrutiny.

May I be so bold as to ask why overturning same sex unions are a reason to celebrate?
Not meaning to be the devils advocate, but honestly, who does this truly hurt? No one.
And after all we are not a Christian Theocracy are we?
