Forum for the Politically Active and Concerned

The above announcement was sent out yesterday and I would encourage anyone who is politically motivated or anyone concerned with the issue to try and attend.

This forum would allow good input into changes that may help many of us in Southern Indiana as we sometimes appear to be treated as a stepchild to the larger cities in northern Indiana and the INDY area.

I am not sure if Connie Sipes is participating, but I am sure she will have input. She has been very good to work with in the past and she is a good listener.

I agree with you. This would be an excellent avenue to voice our concerns and to become informed. Unfortunately it is scheduled at the same time that a zoning board meeting is being held at the city/county building, which means that some citizens will not be able to attend as well as some of our county officials. It would have been good if there had been some coordination with the meetings. The zoning board meeting is held at the same time each month, so there could have been better communication.

HB,

That is because we are the unclaimed stepchild of Indianapolis.

Didn't you know the Indiana State Line stops at Seymour? Anything south of there is no mans land.

Prior to the xmas tree fiasco I had high hopes that Jerry would reach acroos the river and annex us in the Metro. But alas that one was dashed too!
