While President Reagan is not among my favorite Presidents, he was an effective leader due to his charisma. I just didn't always agree with the path.

Some really good lines that I had forgotten, thanks for posting them.

I can't believe you didn't recall "I don't recall". Our soldiers in Iraq can't forget. They're dodging U.S. built weapons whether anyone chooses to remember who cut the arms deals or not.

But Dan, if you disliked Raygun, then you wouldn't consider the quotes you offered to be classic and refreshing.

Just misguided.

Hats off to medrep for contributing a sense of balance.

Disliking Reagan will never change history. He was a great president!

Speaking of balanced, I noticed an unbalanced approach to the postings of Sodrel's contributors on your site. No posting of Hill's contributors were mentioned and he also has some questionable money sources and PAC's.

I support the republicans primarily because they most closely parallel my beliefs.

No hidden agenda!

Brandon posted the Hill stats shortly after the Sodrel take was presented, and Brandon's research was moved to the marquee yesterday.

Great?

The stock market boom was the result of his economic policies just as the current boom is because of Bush's economic tax cuts and policies.

None of you would ever admit it, but history will verify it in time.

If spending could get under control along with reform of the tax system, we could ensure long term prosperity. But the liberal left will never allow that to happen.

You have got to be kidding. The liberal left? Seems to me there was a balanced budget with a surplus when the current President came into office.

The Republicans now control the legislative AND the executive branches of the federal government. We now have record deficits and no end in site.

I know that you are a competent family doctor. I think you need to go see a competent opthomologist! (smile)

I am certainly not a fan of the spending but the tax cuts are favorable to everyone.

The Federal Government should have to live within their means like everyone else.

I am tiring of my money being spent on projects the government should not be involved in.
